‘Tis the day before Christmas

        and the snow is a blowin’

I’m sitting here wondering

        why I live where it’s snowin’!

 

On the ground is a layer

         nearly 10 inches deep

With more falling on top

          all I can say is !BLEEP!

 

The tree is all trimmed,

            The presents are wrapped

The cards are addressed

        and just need to be stamped.

 

With pen and paper in hand

                   I’m struggling to find

All the words that I need  

          and still make them rhyme!

 

But whatever I write

                in this letter to you

I hope that you know

       that these wishes are true....

 

May your heart and your home

       fill with love and with cheer..
